Dr. Carsten-Patrick Meier is managing director of Kiel Economics. He studied economics in Göttingen and Kiel. Prof. Dr. Juergen B. Donges, the later chairperson of the panel of experts of the survey concerning the macroeconomic development, supervised his doctoral dissertation.

Between 1998 and 2008 he conducted the research programme Economic situation in Germany at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Later he managed the field of research Risks in the Banking Sector. Dr. Meier is the author of papers on the development of the macroeconomic situation, financial markets, and banks. Additionally, he publishes influential articles in high-ranked academic and business journals concerning innovations in macroeconomic modelling and forecasting.

Finn Dumoulin works as a researcher for Kiel Economics. His major research area are sectoral analyses.

He recieved his B.Sc. in economics (major) with business admistration (minor) from the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel. In December 2014 he graduated as a M.Sc. in quantitative economics.

Christopher Dahl works as a researcher for Kiel Economics.

He studied economics with a quantitative focus at Kiel University (CAU). In January 2024, he successfully completed his Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics.

Lisa Fenn

Lisa Fenn holds a diploma in economics and takes care of all administrational processes at Kiel Economics, especially accountancy. She studied economics in Kiel and Uppsala and worked at several positions in tax advisory.
