Dr. Peter Hennecke

Dr. Peter Hennecke is a former researcher of Kiel Economics and currently researching and teaching at the chair of money and credit of the University of Rostock and at FOM University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg (adjunct lecturer). He cooperate with Kiel Economics in the area of macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, in particular regarding the European Monetary Union.

He studied economics at the University of Rostock and the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He majored in banking and financial markets as well as econometrics. In 2016, he received his doctorate in economics from the University of Rostock for a dissertation on monetary unions.
